Ans-I would like to describe an occasion when I paid much more than I had originally expected, and it was when I bought a new helmet for my bike.
As a traveler, I often go on long rides by bike, sometimes to hilly areas and remote places. A few months ago, I decided to replace my old helmet because it was slightly damaged and not very comfortable anymore. I went to a local showroom thinking I would buy a decent helmet for around 2,000 to 3,000 rupees. My main focus was just safety and a simple design.
However, when I reached the store, I saw a premium helmet from a well-known brand. It had better padding, a strong outer shell, anti-fog visor, and a proper ventilation system. The shopkeeper explained that it was safer for long rides and offered better protection at high speeds. After trying it on, I immediately felt the difference. It was much more comfortable and fit perfectly.
The problem was the price. Instead of 3,000 rupees, it cost me nearly 6,500 rupees, which was more than double my budget. At first, I hesitated because I hadn’t planned to spend that much. But then I thought about my safety. As someone who loves traveling and going on road trips, I realized that a helmet is not something where I should compromise.
So in the end, I decided to buy it even though it was expensive. I paid more because of the quality, safety features, and long-term durability. Later, I felt satisfied with my decision because I use it regularly, and it gives me confidence while riding. Even though I paid more than expected, I believe it was worth every rupee.
